Good afternoon my bloggers! A funny tidbit: when I first wrote that sentence I said my boogers lol. Today my entry will be short and sweet because I will probably be updating in length tomorrow: A) because I won’t be writing entries during the weekends and B) because I am still trying to get a lot done around the house! You know spring cleaning lol.
Today has been, well, normal. My children (you know, thing 1 and thing 2 lol ) are acting like they have just eaten an entire bucket of ice cream. Mind you, they haven’t, but they are still acting like it. They fight over the most bizarre things and it leaves me only asking myself one question: were my brothers and sister this bad when we were kids? Answer: yes, probably. Thing 1 will cry and get angry because thing 2 is looking at her, and thing 2 will cry and get angry because thing 1 will not talk to him! This will go on for hours. Then it stops and they play for oh, I don’t know, twenty minutes or so. Then they are back at it again. Oh the joys of being a mommy. Ha! I love it, though. A little secret: (whispers) I actually find them very funny when they fight.
Also my mind has been in many different places today (not any more than normal). Like, for instance, the question of “why can’t I keep indoor plants alive?” They should be the easiest to take care of, right? Umm… no, they are not. I have killed two mother-in-law plants and two ivies and I’m not sure why. I water them just like I do the outside plants. I stick them in the proper amount of sunlight. Am I able to keep them alive? Absolutely not!!!
My mind has also been around such weird things as “I wonder if volcanoes are still popping out of mountains that nobody knew were volcanoes?” I am not sure where that came from. I was just sitting outside (on what I like to refer as my union breaks) and it just happened to wonder to the thought of volcanoes! Super weird. I have also been rolling around the idea of dream jobs. What would be my dream job? At one point it was that I want to own my own bar. That’s not going to happen. Then I thought maybe I wanted to be a teacher. Ha, yea, that plan was a waist of effort. I don’t even have enough patience with trying to teach myself something new. How in the world would I teach others? I have finally settled on the fact that I would make a great librarian!!! (Go on people that know me; shake your head, giggle a little, and let’s move on.) I think I would be great at it. I love, love, love books of any and every kind. Literally my best friend the other day was talking about burning a school book and I was like “No, no! Don’t ever burn a book!” Even though I would have never read the book, nor do I have any interest, I still found it very hard to allow her to burn the book. Someone might want it. Besides I love kids and even though I don’t want to teach them I would love to enhance their desire to read as a past time. I would be a very FUN librarian!!!!!!
This mind of mine has also been with our new boat today. I cannot wait to take it out on the lake with the kids and go fishing and tubing and just plan have a blast. Hurry up summer. And of course with that thought comes the thought of WOW MOTHER NATURE I THINK YOUR DRUNK!!!!!! In January here we had a weekend of almost 80 degree weather; then two days later we had a blizzard. Now we are in nice 70 degrees with winds that would knock a baby over!!! But yesterday it was 40 degrees. So, Mother Nature, I think I’m going to enroll you in AA!!!
Have a great day or night or whatever my blogger buddies. Talk to you tomorrow!!!!!!
P.S thank you to whom this may concern (you know who you are)!!!! shhhhh lets see if you catch this
You crack me up so much! The volcano thought was funny. The union breaks made me lol. But the mother nature is drunk thing had me in stitches! Although, since we both know God and not Mother Nature controls the weather so I am He has a sense of humor too.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I caught it.
And I think I have changed my mind about burning that book. I will just donate it to your library.
I think I was drunk first time I posted this comment so trying again:
